Cohere Solutions is a Cape Town-based research and engineering consultancy working across biotechnology, environmental science, advanced engineering and public policy. Our team of economists, sociologists, engineers and scientists partners with businesses, universities and government bodies to turn field research and technical analysis into decisions that hold up — from labour policy adopted by a sectoral training authority to on-premises systems built for clients who'd rather own their infrastructure than rent it.

Founded by an economist and a sociologist, Cohere Solutions grew into eleven specialists working on real problems — from farmworker labour policy to on-premises AI. Our work maps onto the UN Sustainable Development Goals, but it starts with a specific question, not a framework.
